"I have been struggling with osteoarthritis since 2011, but I will not let it slow me down. As a former snowboarder and a very active individual, the thought of being sidelined by a surgery is unpleasant to me; so, despite what my x-rays may reflect, I will not have a total hip replacement. In order to avoid this procedure entirely, I drove many miles to receive PRP and orthobiologics injections in 2016 and 2017, respectively.
